Default Your advice: 7.1 GT3 & Porsche of North Houston

Appreciate any knowledge, advice or history on this car and dealership. Have placed a depost to hold until Saturday when I'll have the opportunity to check it out in person. Reveiwing Autocheck it appears as though the car has had several owners. The car will be CPO'd. The rotors will be replaced as part of the certification process.

Thanks!

I like it. $80K CPO'd seems like a good price too. Remember to get a DME report and PPI. Good luck with the purchase.

Looks really nice. If you do get it, let me know the final numbers as I am interested in the same car, just waiting until the fall...GL! I'm envious

Great looking car! I think the posted price is a little high though...

Don't worry about the number of owners so much, if the car was driven right then no big problem. My car had 3 owners before me, the first guy bought it and put close to 800 miles before he upgraded to a .1 RS, the second owner put 3,XXX miles and I got it from Izzone with 13,8XX miles

Thanks for the responses! I've requested the DME report....anyone know of a good independent shop that can perform the PPI in the North Houston area?

show them comps on cars.com and autotrader. lots and lots of cars for sale, prices all over the place depending on if the seller is selling or just trolling. offer them 78K.

I think the car was owned by a Lone Star region PDS instructor who's son is going racing. Too much money for one with that many miles

Pricing opinions aside, how is 10k miles too many on a 2007 car? That's about 2500-3000 miles per year.

+1, I think you are right... I remember it being listed locally (I think for a little cheaper).

Many thanks for the continued responses. Not overly concerned with the mileage - this will be a DD and occasional track day car (motorbikes primarily serve this purpose ). Who are the best independent shops in Houston for the PPI? I'd like to schedule something for Saturday afternoon while I'm in town.

My buddy picked up a 2008 GT2 from P N. Houston and had a great experience. Miles are low in my opinion (same as my 2010 GT3). Price is high as other have mentioned.

Miles are an obsession with GT3s and anything more than 20,000 is like approaching 100k on a regular car. The market will knock $10k off. It has absolutely nothing to do with wear. There are plenty of GT3's whose only "easy" miles were the warm up and cool down laps.

HAHA, I worked at that dealership in the late 70's. It was owned by a German named Wellman at that time. Anyone know if he's still there?
