Production or allocations? I can believe there are no more allocations. I don't believe production has completed. My dealer has an RS coming in May that is scheduled for an April build. They don't know yet how many additional cars will show up. They usually get 1-2 more that are pre-specced at the end of production. Remember that Porsche ALWAYS builds extra cars to clear inventory off the production floor before the annual factory shutdown and model year switchover. Some of these cars just show up and they don't even know they are coming.

Here is something else to think about, 436 of the 997.2 GT3s were sold before the first 997.2 RS hit US shores. Across the last 13 months, they have been building about 3 times as many RS's as regular GT3s over the same period. That is a really big bump-up on RS production this time. When you look at the number of new RS's looking for owners at dealers, it is possible we could see 550 of them before the RS limited shows up.

MK2 RS "limited" production, greater than the Chevy Volt sales?
might need to order an "exclusive" Volt....
