After months of deliberation (over .1 vs .2 RS) I have just purchased this car from a fellow Rennlist member who has been fantastic to deal with. The car really is like new, has only done 109 miles and has been extremely well maintained by the previous owner.
I plan to use the car very occasionally on the street but mostly for time trial and targa events. Its now on the way to Rothsport Racing for some modifications which include but are not limited to:
> Complete "clubsport" kit (roll cage, seats, harnesses, steering wheel, plexi rear window, battery disconnect, etc)
> Cup front lip, Manthey carbon doors and door panels, European rear bumper
> 4.0L conversion with individual throttle bodies, ECU remap, BMC air filter, M&M exhaust system
> 996 Cup gearbox, shifter and cables, clutch unit
> AP brake rotors
> Full suspension package (shocks TBC)
> Champion magnesium wheels with Hoosier R6 tires
My first outing in the car will be the NASA weekend at Thunderhill in May, the car is entered in TT (I'll also be doing Pirelli Drivers Cup and WERC in my 996 Cup). I can't wait for all the car to be finished and have a chance to drive it!
Over the next few weeks I'll provide updates and photographs of the work being done.

This is exactly a brand new car! Wonder why the previous owner didn't drive it at all. How do you maintain a 4 years old car without driving it?? Congrats anyway.

Wow! Great looking car!
It really is brand new with only 100 miles on it![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
That's a lot of upgrades for sure! Wouldn't you like to break it in first instead of doing all that right after you get it?

Yes, great car from an owner who took every step to make sure it was taken care of properly given the limited use.
Break in? No, parts are waiting for the car to arrive![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Jeff (Rothsport) has done work on other cars of mine and is the best IMO. Its his ITB that we're using.
Yes, May 13-15. I look forward to seeing you there Mooty. What class are you running in?

Wow, just the way I would have ordered a MKI with 100miles??
Don't hold back, LOL!
