Boy O boy, that's even better!
Better warranty then PS2!!
MICHELIN® Pilot® Super Sport WYZ Summer 30k
MICHELIN® Pilot® Sport Cup WYZ Summer N/A
MICHELIN® Pilot® Sport PS2™ WYZ Summer 20k
MICHELIN® Pilot® Sport 3 WYZ Summer 20k

SuperSports here we come :-)

The PS2 tires are grippier then you'd think, but the 275's are no match for the MB.
Not a normal car, it wags tail under full throttle, even at 80Mph.

We never drag race, but for fun my brother took the car out to the drag strip last week on PS2's.
No burn out, no lowering tire pressure, no ABC on sport, left A/C and EPS on and lined up.
He ran a 12.03 @ 118Mph.

the thing that amazed me the most about them was after a hard day at the launch, looking at the shoulders of the fronts I would expect to see "lipping"/"cresting" of the leading edge of the tread blocks...

it was noticable in its absence, I think because of the special carbon formula that they have in the shoulder compound that strengthens and resists heat better ... also the twaron band keeps the tire
contact patch flatter (resisting deformation through centripetal force)

I think you will like them ... if you dont, take them back in 30 days and get your money back or a set of PS2s/Cups ...

Ntter performance and longer life with warranty. What's not to like?

They don't come in OEM size, but I've mounted 305 PS2's in the rear before that I hed left over from my GT3.

I'd say that I could go a few sizes wider than the oem 245/40/19 and 275/35/19. Where is the size chart?

Here's one small problem, the weight of the wheels. It may affect your lap times a little, maybe not much but it will change how the car reacts for sure.

How do they compare to HOHO's as far as grip goes? I know the longevity will be better.

Larry,

How'd you get them so soon? I pre-ordered a set of Super Sports from TireRack and they estimated getting them into their IN warehouse April 1st. I haven't heard anything, but have worn through my rears and am waiting patiently for them to be delivered. Can't wait!

Don't worry about the wheel weights discrepancy ... Larry measures his track times with any of ...

sun dial

hour glass

half life of Deuterium

Larry could always turn it over to me. But he knows better. (Wouldn't it be funny to stick him the Radical sometime, though?)

Got an 07 RS running 235/35/19F and 305/30/19R.

Wanted to try the 10 RS size 245/35/19 and 325/30/19.

Looks like Mich SuperSports don't have 325...but i'm sure it's only a matter of time.

Does anyone know if i can run '10RS fitiment on my '07RS?

Anyone else planning to do this?

Thanks.

Larry, Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Just paid $1300 for a pair of Corsa 305/19's.

Better, less $, more tread, etc., all sounds good to me.

Larry: TireRack seems to indicate that the PSS are 2/3lb heavier than the PS2 (for 225/295). Same weight as Bridgestone RE050A N1.

It looks like we're contending with basic laws of physics. Just like a woman that's easier to look at is also higher maintenance. A tire with 1/16" more tread depth and a flatter contact patch......just can't be lighter......There's just trade-offs everywhere!
