Thanks Larry, OEM sizes fit and only $80.00 more then the PS2's for the wife's car.
Looks like I can upsize the fronts from 245/40/19 to 255/35/19 and the rears from 275/35/19 to 295/30/16

I think what Michelin marketing may be discovering is that people interested in the PS2 or PSS are not as concerned with weight compared to the people who are looking at the Sport Cups.

I mean look at all the hoopla it's getting on here over the lower price, longer life, and newer technology (better grip), while a lower weight might have made this product a grand slam, i think everyone on here is more than happy to settle for a Home run.

What's the ETA on rear sizes for 911's?
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....ot+Super+Sport
Why would they produce a 235/22 and 265/22 before making things like 315/19, 325, 335 and especially 345/19? I wonder what production car is running 22's?

When is the 325 rear coming - anyone know? I hear rumours its with the release of the "next RS".....

I find it hard to understand why the 325 would not be a priority given its on the Gen 2 RS - the latest model

No love for any 996 GT3/Turbo/GT2 I do sort of wonder how good the PSS is going to be. I do know from back to back testing same day @ Sebring that the Yokohama AD07 was 2 secs faster than the PS2 on my 6GT3. The Yokohama AD08 is better in the dry and wet than the AD07 (which was scary in the wet).

Yeah that is an issue since the HRE's are a lot lighter than the OEM ...so its not a fair comparision.

no idea, but remember this is not a DOT/R compound tire.

Looks like Mich SuperSports don't have 325...but i'm sure it's only a matter of time.

Does anyone know if i can run '10RS fitiment on my '07RS?

Anyone else planning to do this?

Thanks.
it is a matter of time, but nither Porsche nor Michelin are making any public statements about the availability of either N-spec or the 325/19 RS rears.

AFIAK it is the intention to split the PS2 OE market between the SS and the PS3 targetting the latter at lower power/price point vehicles, wont effect the Porsche market at all as I understand it, that will be the domain of the Super Sport.
