Got my PFC front rotors last week. I bought 2 new sets of drive pins (nubs) and they fit really good in the hats. There is very little over sizing to the holes (< 1 mm). They won't go on the car though until I wear out my current set of pads. I had my dealer inspect them and the holes are actually tighter spaced than the typical OEM rotors and hence said there are no warranty issues using them; unlike the warranty issues identified using the previous PFC oval hole hats. BTW, I weighed them and the rotors are 28 lbs each.

Nice and tight. Mine too. Look cool. Slotted front look mean + drilled rears.

I spoke to Alex Job about how long the PFC rotors would last......he said to change them when the inner gas slot was gone

He was correct, they lasted

We changed pads / rotors on the car Saturday night at Sebring......I think they were record thin (forgot to take a picture too much beer). Reter, Chris Hall and I had just driven the car. Brakes felt fantatic and there was little to no pad left

Pictures of the rotors.....PFC is the real deal

Randy, how many days was this?
Please run the OEM ones I gave to the end to get comparo data. They had 14 days on them when I took them off and I'd say we put on 2 days yesterday, so we are at 16.

I commented how well Randy's car was braking, we took the pads off and every front pad was between 1 and 2 mm material left!! All 3 where trying to set fast lap and all 3 of us were happy with the barking performance. better then Pagid R29 at 50% pad left!!

I will use PFC08 pads until they stop making them.

Wow...inner slot? Looks like you have no slots left...and I guess all brakes crack in the end....excited to hear they worked well for you.

Just need to change the rotor now right? Since hat stays? I'll get a replacement set when my car heads down there.

I have one day on mine! whoohoo

Wish PFC made 08 pads for my car...I tried the 01's and 97's and they transfered too much heat to the caliper and they wore out the rotors much too quickly.

I never understood that about the Pagid's. Why do they stop working/need to be changed at 50%? Is the bottom 50% made of plastic? After this set of pads is done I'll make the switch to PFC. maybe should buy them in bulk if everyone with an RS is going to switch to these???

19 days

(2) Autobahn
(2) Road America
(1) Mosport
(2) Watkins Glen
(3) Mid Ohio
(6) Sebring
(2) Roebling
(1) Daytona

2,800 track miles

I do think the PFC08 pad is "rougher" on the rotor. Replacement rings are less than OEM and you can run the pads longer

The front pads we took Saturday night were at 1600 track miles:
(5) days Sebring
(2) days Roebling
(1) day Daytona

I flipped them once

I will run teh OEM on there until they crack all the way through.

Yes, I am going to order a new set of friction rings from Apex Performance

Alx told me they will eventually crack, but they will crack some time after the inner gas slot disappears

My rotors have:
(4) 4 days for sure, can't remember where, I think Homestead and Barber
(2) Autobahn
(2) Road America
(1) Mosport
(2) Mid Ohio, we had 3 days but count as 2. After day 1 Switched PFC08 pads out with between 2 and 4mm pad left. Rear pads 50%
(2) Watkins Glen
(1) 2 hours at PBIR, but PBIR fries them like no other place
(2) Daytona
(1) Sebring
Pads still have a day or 2 in them, but probably not a whole Sebring weekend because I did not flip them.
Rears are still 50% so I will just switch inside (Wears tiny bit more) out when I put new fronts in after next weekend.
Rotors 17 days, getting a bit tired, but good to go for a few more weekends at Sebring.

AVG track day is 200 miles roughly 4 sessions or 2 tanks of gas.

Any recommendations for a brake pad vendor? I am in need of fresh Pagid's... and am thinking of trying PFC.

OK to sum up:

Could not care less about rear rotors, Turbo rear rotors fit and are only $339 + shipping FOR A SET and last forever anyway..
http://www.suncoastparts.com/product...Code=997tt2_CL
I will get these next time but I still have OEM ones, someone please get a set to try and test.

PFC08 pads OEM size and shape:
F 7819.08.17/19.44 I know the 19 thick fit on the dimpled rotors, unclear if the slotted rotors are thicker and need 17mm
R 1299.08.18.44

PFC P/N 0379.067.85/86 (left and right) is for the PFC "kit" which includes the PFC hat.
Came with dimpled rotors.

The PFC P/N for just the dimpled rotor is 0379.34.0066.34/44 (left and right).

Can someone confirm:
379.068.85/86 (left and right) for the slotted kit
Are the the same thickness as the dimpled ones?
The part # for slotted discs.

Anyone have the part numbers for the bolts to replce in the red nubbies and the hardware to bolt the hats to the rotors?
