Default Gt3 rs mk1 set up

Dear all ,

I m writing from france .
I have a gt3 rs mk1 and i have installed bw absorber, rss tie rods , and all rss fitment for the chassis .
I m running michelin sport cup plus on 19 inches wheels .

Did you have some advise for an agressive set up , for small tracks with a lot of curve .
Must i reducevthe height of the car and how many mm ....

Thanks in advance .

Emmanuel

You will need GT2 adjustable sway bars.... Or GMG sway bars.....

Setting up the sway bars are key on the .1RS

I like as much negative camber as I can get up front, and no toe. I was routinely eating through the outside edge of my Hoosiers up front until I got camber plates and went to -2.5, now the tires wear much more evenly.

No toe is a personal preference. I like twitchy, so that works well for me.

I highly recommend 18" wheels and getting rid of those MPSC tires. I think the 19" MPSCs are dreadful. The Hoosiers are addictive, but even without them I'd much rather have 18" NT01s R888s or something than those MPSCs. The lighter weight of the 18" wheels is definitely noticeable and the tire choices are much better.

For very tight tracks, the car will greatly benefit by running more front tire - 245, 255, 265 and getting the thicker 997gt2 rear sway bar on the soft setting. Set the front camber to -2.7 and the rear to -2.3. Front toe to zero, rear toe to 2mm in per side.
