i wish i had a solution to lessen the pain and anticipation. i kept calling the driver like he was going to skip all his other stops and magically appear 4 days ahead of schedule
the car is by far the best porsche ive ever owned. i had 6 and 7 gt3's. this is 1st RS and the car is amazing. cant wait to get it on track and really open this beast up

no worries, i had a .1 7gt3. its kinda weird but this is the 1st time i feel like i could DD this 3. dont know if its from my leg working those clutches so much but this RS clutch feels much lighter than past cars. it was a workout before when stuck in traffic. the 7 gas a more DD feel with the improved interior over the 6. the 6 is just raw, made lots of noise and wanted to be on a track with no nannies. the 7 was more refined and classier but still had that please get above 5000rpm feel to it. personally, im not one for traffic with a manual or people looking at me crazy when trying to go over speed bumps or in and out of certain gas stations. its funny thinking back on it when your in the car waiting to hear if your going to scrape or not but after a while its not a big deal, just replace and keep driving.

Thanks for sharing!
I felt the clutch was lighter in my 997.1 GT3 RS than my friend's 997.1 GT3. I thought my RS was easier for a DD (if I would not get all the unwanted attention).
I totally agree with the interior from the 6 to the 7. I loved my 996 GT3,... it was so raw and as a daily, it was fine for a 5 mile commute. I was younger back then too.
I don't worry about the scrapes anymore,... not after my most embarrassing episode with the 6 was running over my front lip after ramming into a speed bump (I didn't see it) at 50mph. Running out of the car, picking it up in the middle of the road and trying to fit it into the back of the car was truly a horrific memory.

i love the 6, but i dont enjoy driving it on street. it's not just the raw feel, but the dampening and all, just not right on street.
7.1 and 7.2 are very dual purpose...
