Thanks for the feedback everyone. What should be an obvious topic isn't.
Going to stay with a porsche recommended spec - the mobil1 5W/50, car is getting it's new oil Tuesday ahead of my first track day of the season at VIR on Thursday. Even though the season break has only been two months, its long enough.
