How you mean? I'm thinking about selling my 996 RS and buying a 997.2 RS but with 986 RS prices truly on the up everyone Keeps telling me I'm nuts. Also the mere mention on Pistonheads if selling and I get bombarded with PM'd asking if I'd sell to them, puts me off a little. Thoughts ?
The 997.2RS is the faster car but the 996RS is a very rare and good car.
You would need both

the only way to do it is to add the 7.2RS.

Do the math and if you chose all then you helped improve Porsche's profits about $5k. Of course if you chose all the delete options then you need to ask yourself while you are sweating on your way home from the track with your melted drink spilled all over your lap why you didn't just buy a used cup car instead? At least you get to listen to the sweet sound of the engine which you could listen to just as well by just turning off the stereo...if you had one.
but we're all race car drivers who can drive these cars at 10/10s!

the main difference to me was the RS decal and the RS vin.
u be amazed what those two letters command in price premium.
we manufacture clothing for kmart as well as for saks, same item, same worker, same factory, just different label.... what's the difference. the LABEL. this is marketing 101 guys.

there are difference
6.1 had bad brakes but light and nimble
6.2 lost a bit of that
6.2 rs has befogged eomg and cf panels
7.1 is closely related to 6.1 certainly in displacement
7.2 added cosmetic chg
rs had wider *** and gearing.
I would pay 10-20000 easily for the gearing alone. it's a BIG difference
but yes lots marketing, especially PTS and stitching
