^ Amen to that... but intriguing nonetheless.

You could combine the Ducati desmo with a track hot rod in this Aussie combination:

This is Sparta!

I assume these guys aren't taking themselves too seriously. But the price tag is certainly serious for a bike-engine powered chain-drive track car with no brand value. AUD$90K. Reminds me of the early Radical, but with an expensive engine that sounds out of place outside the trellis frame of its origin ... and now in a much bigger bird cage with two extra wheels to turn.

And no pics of the cabin suggest it's simply not finished and ready to be seen. I imagine the chassis is directly from a kit car or Lotus running gear and parts-bin engineered to wrap around what's apparently a unique tube frame, but I'm not sure which company designed or built the frame.

All this Radical, Atom, Caterham, Stohr stuff is great. If you want to go absurdly fast around the track then that's the ticket. The 911 is not a slow car but it's a bus compared to those.

I like my track experience to be in something that does resemble a road car. Someone else may like the Radical experience. One is not a direct substitute for the other.
I bought a Radical. Completely different experience.
