i know gordon gecko.
the last TV show i remember watching was "flipper" and "3's company"...
oh night rider. that's about it. then came college and i shut off outside.

i came to berkeley in 1988. i didn't know that there were more than one bridge here until i got my 2nd degree in 1994. i thought there was golden gate bridge and that was it.... so no time for tv.

i also didn't know that i lived in East Bay for a long time. i thought berkeley, SF, peninsula were all the same and i really dont understand why i have to cross some bridge and tunnel to go from one place to another. oh, yes, i also refuse to read maps. what a waste of time.

New "car" smell? I don't think you mean car, did you? And in this case it might not be new but new to you smell.

Exactly.......for some reaosn the grass is always greener on the other side.....and the it feels so perfect during the first drive......then you start to notice it squeaks and rattles.....then you have to maintain it to keep it running

True but there is something to knowing what you are driving and doing it well. You know exactly how its going to go and react. If you keep it in working order it can be very rewarding.

But it's always temping to try a faster one
