Definitely think Race Ramps are needed!! Just need to figure which ones...

Be sure you have a place to store the TR-5 in the trailer or tow vehicle.
When I sold my Featherlite 3110, I gave away my TR-5 ramps with the trailer for free (a RL member bought the trailer). The ramps were too long to store in a H2 Hummer with the 3rd row seats removed (long cargo area), but fine if stored in a pick-up truck, Excursion, Suburban, etc.
I got a set of custom ramps made by raceramps.com in 2 pieces, they have even higher height and a lower angle. They fit in the trunk of the H2 and the Cayenne (narrow and small trunk).
The Trailex CT-8060/8045/7045 have long ramps (11' long), while the featherlite 3110 has shorter ramps (7' long). However, the Featherlite has a much lower floor, so the angle of the ramps makes it easier to load a low car, despite of having shorter ramps than the Trailex Open trailer.
Removing and reinstalling the splitter takes 1 or 2 minutes at most. No screws necessary. That's the easy way. Minor scrapping on the spoiler lip when loading on the trailer is not a problem, the Cup splitter is pretty flexible.

dual axle trailer gets a flat.....pull good tire on ramp, change other tire
OK...I am making excuses.....I am too lazy to remove dirty splitter

They are long but do the job very well. I should know. We've sold them for a few years now after seeing them at SEMA. It's what I use on my car.
Peter, let me know if you want a set and we'll put them on our spring order. We've sold a bunch over the years. Biggest problem is getting them shipped economically across the border. They are bulky!
