I would back out of the deal after I saw it too. Something just looks really wrong with that car.

Interesting car, he does deviated stitching on the doors and seats but doesn't have a full leather dash so no stitching there?

Color is not bad, but silver with black accent would look better imo.

wow, no full leather, no wart, no pcm, no cupholder, RS.2 in GT Silver. this sounds like a winner to me. since it has silver wheels, i am thinking the original customer was intending to change the red bits to black instead of paying porsche to do that for $7K. i say pull a Larry Cable and have the dealer discount all the options you don't care for and take her home!

Larry Cable this is a great find. I owe you one. The car is not perfect but could easily become what I'm after:

Black mirror housing, rear wind end plates and wheels
Red decals removed
Seats will be changed to the fixed back euro clubsport ones anyway
Front axle lift will be removed for suspension mods

So I'll just need to do some serious negotiating...

jenk12m has also spotted another great car in what would be my second choice color combo - white/black. Again its not perfect but with a few changes could be close to what I'm looking for.

Now I have a couple of options and can work on both dealers!

The silver one is one of the nicest specs i've seen. The red has to go, but that is not biggie.
You'd be good with just changing the wing tips and mirrors to body color!

Mike, the avatar picture is my Cup car.

Ah, the stripper. It was a virgin low mileage car when I got hold of it. Then I modified just about everything, way too much to list here. I used a combination of European RS, Cup and aftermarket parts. Most of the interior and all of the trunk lining was removed. The car was a real weapon and only used on the track. The only mistake I made with that car was selling it!!!

PM me if you would like more details regarding what was done to the car. I'm happy to share my experiences and the long, long list of modifications.

That silver/red isn't doing anything for me, for some reason

There are still a couple of open orders around that may be changeable. The issue is PTS. Supposedly Porsche suspended PTS in Oct. I just tried to submit a changeable order to PTS Mexico Blue and it wouldn't take it.

Yeah, I seem to be coming up against the same brick wall.

So I'm looking at a couple of other options. Does anyone have any experience with RPM Sports Cars? I would be interested in comments or experiences, good or bad.
