New Year Day Drive So Cal 2011

Happy Holidays !- Rain optioned route as Lil Tujunga may still be closed and/or heavy debris 12/26/10 update
We hope the New Year brings all the best in health and happiness to you and your families. In our efforts to further that thought, below is the suggested directions for the New Years Day drive therapy. Please share this with your friends and encourage them to join us.
7:30 am meet at TRE Motorsports - Coffee and bagels for the first 150 people (donations to defray expenses gladly accepted )
8:15-8:30 leave- 405 north to 5 North
5 North to 14 towards Palmdale
Hwy 14 to Placerita Canyon exit
Right on Placerita Canyon (NOTE: Various debris trails run across the road due to rain storms- slippery!)
LEFT at Tee intersection (Sand Canyon- ranch residential area)
follow to Soledad canyon road RIGHT
follow Soledad canyon to Aliso canyon RIGHT
Aliso Canyon to Angeles Forest Highway LEFT (wide parking area for picture stop) (NOTE Various debris runs across roads, slippery ! Also Aliso Canyon has a few surprise turns with no warning signs. Also you may see ROAD CLOSED AHEAD, but it isn't !)
After turnout photo op on Angeles Forest, continue west to Mt Emma Road
Mt Emma road- RIGHT
Follow Mt Emma to 47th st LEFT (first opportunity to turn left on a paved road / note house on left side with solar panels preceding the narrow turn)
Barrel Springs Road LEFT
follow Barrel Springs past Pearblossom (signal) , changes name to 25th St
Continue on 25th ST to Palmdale BL
LEFT on Palmdale Bl (various gas stations along this blvd till after you cross the 14)
Continue on Palmdale Bl- changes name to Lake Elisabeth Road
Follow Lake Elisabeth to Lake Hughes Road LEFT
Follow Lake Hughes road to 5 Fwy SOUTH
5 Fwy south to Magic Mountain Parkway- EXIT
Various restaurants on west side of fwy frontage road south of MMPkway
