Well, if you are going to go that simple, why not just pinstripe it. It would be a fraction of the cost of paint and a ton less prep. we are talking maybe $200 for some nice striping vs. a minimum of $750 (with tax) for full helmet painting.

That is what I've been trying to say, it'll be a carbon fiber helmet (still waiting for the SA2010 to come out) with some stripes/shapes on it I'm planning to keep the CF visible. I'll post some pics of my idea once I'm done with sketching
