Default I never see GT3's on the road around here...

in the NYC tri-state area. I know that there are many and I am out in my RS or PTT or C4S DAILY....occasionally, I will see a random Cayman or Boxster. We have stupid amounts of Peppers and I even see an old 944 quite regularly but almost zero 911 variants. I have seen a 6 GT3.... 3 years ago!!!

Where the "F" are all of the cars? ..it is getting so rare to see any type of 911 that I am fearing that there are thousands held hostage in their respective garages. WTF?? why are you guys not driving your cars

stepping off of my now.

Well it is winter after all.

And the GT3/GT3RS are rare birds. I see a ton of 997TT, C2S, C4S, Caymans, etc, but I've only ever seen one 997 GT3 on the road in the last few years, despite living in a heavily-populated metropolitan area. The track doesn't count.

Saw a new white GT3 in Walnut Creek about a month ago. Seems like each time I make my way into the city I always see a TT. Saw a GT2 at an open house is Sea Cliff last week. Me and the misses are quite there yet, spending 10MM on a house.

Here in the Bay Area I see GT3's quite oftenly. Yesterday I passed by a small(er) local dealer - Rector Porsche - and I think I saw a GT3RS sitting at the side of the showroom (a Turbo S Cab was at the front spot.)

Indeed, in the sea of 911's here, my Altas Grey 997.2 GT3 never turned a single head on the street...

Regards,

Prolly hiding in garages. I was just driving through western Long Island (Great Neck) the other day, and I wouldn't be in a GT3 up there too often. Bad road surfaces, congestion, aggressive (tail-gaiting) driving, etc. Not a prescription for fun driving.

WE have quite a few here in Northern NJ and a couple in my town that are used as DD's.

This time of year they are put away for the season but I can see your point in terms of the limited numbers you see out and about.

You need to take a drive up to Hedge Fund, CT, i.e. Greenwich. You'll see plenty of eye candy.

I run mine around town, but only once in a while. It is now in the trailer for a bit with the battery tendered up. I did have a customer/friend yesterday bring his new GT3 RS to my store to show it to me. Very cool to see such a rare car in the everyday setting of my parking lot.

GT3 Rx is even more rare than GT3 RS.

I don't see many other GT3s on the street, but there are plenty of them at the track on the weekends.
