What's my GT3 worth ?
2010 Speed Yellow.
Regular Leather Seats
Backs Painted Yellow
Dynamic Engine Mounts
Lift
Bluetooth
Nav
Deviated Stiching.....and a few other doodads.
Sport Chrono (wart)

Paid 131,000 or so.
140,000 exactly out the door.
Anybody have a guess on a sale to dealer...?

(not sure what I am doing.....just would like to know your opinions)
2600 miles. Ratated Struts...still trying playing around with alignment -3.5 front=too much....Rad's helping me change in a couple of weeks.
Car autocrossed about 6 times. Never tracked. Never a missed down shift.........autox.....once in 2nd keep in 2nd.
Thanks,
David

I have been looking at the used market for a while now and talking to a lot of dealers and private sellers, but of course I am not really knowledgeable, however here are my guesses:
Trade-in: $92-96K (dealer will claim that it will be hard to sell due to color combinations)
Private sale: $100-107K (upper end for a SP lover)
Ebay, I don't have a clue, I never take those prices seriously until I call and talk to seller.
Just don't be emotional about the sale and set your priorities correctly; time, money, specific type of owner, trade, etc.

Just wanting to keep my options open.
No idea what I want to do......
I guess for now I will keep tweaking the alignment......

david, are you running oem tire size up front for autox? if so i would recommend going up to 255 on 18's if possible. big difference. good luck! hope you don't sell it. take it to the big track and try it out.

Track the heck out of it. practice on missing down shifts, rent it on the track by the day, remove the clear film if you have one and then take the 75K for it.

why not simply stopping by the dealer this weekend and see what he offers... it's free
Then I am sure a fellow Rennlister will come in with a few grants more ...
I see someone is already offering 75k. I'll go $80k cashier's check as well !
can't beat the door step delivery at this point

Anyway, David you get a $75k cashiers check and as a bonus you get a Bright Red Sport car with an 8,350 redline and a 6-speed manual transmission, so you won't miss the GT3. Final offer.
Dealer's trade-in at $100k, good luck with that, that's the trade-in value for a 2010 GT3 RS right now.
I just like the look of that Yellow toy of yours next to my Red Chrysler on my driveway. By the way, if you think depreciation is bad, my Chrysler is about 30% of its market price from 2 years ago, and I don't care because it's worth every penny I paid for it, it gets better the more I work and drive it.

glad I recently sold my GT3RS for a combination of cash and a spec racer ford...these are great cars but it appears that a lot of people already have the 997GT3 in some iteration or another (mk1, mk2, rs, mk2rs) and the market is really flush with people who aren't making use of them. I would have kept mine but I'm really not going to drive it on the track at all, regretting buying it at this point as I might as well have just put the 1200 miles on my CGT, or GTi.

CJ, stick to that CGT. Avoid 918 Spyder, avoid 599GTO, unless you are really in love with these two.
CGT is the best bargain Supercar, period. Money doesn't buy a better car. I was close to buy one and chose a Fiat, but the Fiat is outstanding, and the CGT points on a different direction (marvelous road car, while the Fiat is best enjoyed at the track).
