Default Building Mobonic 2.0 - Ultimate 997S Build

Going where no other 997S has gone before!

Been having some issues with the car with front aero and grip, so I decided to go mental.

If i was going to do it I was going to do it right! and do it right the first time.

SO after a lot of discussion with a few shops I decided to rework the whole front end of my car.

Last week, I dropped my car off at bbi Autosport in Huntington Beach, CA.

Betim @ bbi and I discussed and we decided to upgrade the front aero to RSR style specs. All new ducting behind the bumper in increase airflow, new radiators, new wheel well ducting and cooling and GT3 Cup R fender vents!!!

Also to address that Im running the car with slicks we decided to bump up the spring rates on my JRZ RS PRO's.

For those who are not familiar with the car here is a before:

and here it is today getting the work done before my weekend track days:

New Front end.... Full Carbon Fiber GT3 Cup World Challenge Fenders, Bumper and splitter!

New Hyperco Springs are IN!

Very cool! You are in very good hands with the bbi folks. Joey and Betim are knowledgeable, first-class folks. Shahin, you are going to have the baddest C2S around. Well maybe Jan's will be badder... Just kidding!

Great to hang out with you guys at GTGP.

Be sure to update the thread as this progresses?

Betim and Joey are the best. They were the only shop allowed to work on my Fiat.

now the car will have much better aero efficiency and cooling with the new ducting and the 997 GT3 Cup Car center radiator.

Looks good..

Those red fenders are worth at least 2 seconds a lap

But this build really belongs in the 997s forums

... or the Cup forum, or the racing forum... but also certainly belongs here. Otherwise I might have missed it

You guys are cliff diving?? You should stay close to Mooty, I hear he has a private elevator to go up faster..... Looses less time in between dives.
