But this build really belongs in the 997s forums
Yes thanks to GMG for the fenders...

it is a 997S, but these types of builds don't get the respect they deserve in the 997 forum :P

here is some video from my friends car of it in action.

this was from a practice race with inverted grid start... lots of blocking by slower cars ahead.

My name is mobonic and I have a modding problem!!!

I could not let my good buddy Gomez one up me with his new wing.... so ... SHA-BAM!

Can you say 2010 Cup Wing!

sorry for the poor quality but it was night by the time we got it on the car to test fit!photo-11.jpg[/IMG]

The angle of that picture makes the wing look enormous. Great car

Insane , definitely ! (both my sanity and the car)

The wing is enormous, 67"

It might be overkill, but with all the new front aero I had done, the car was lacking some rear aero for willow springs and Laguna Seca..

Great mods really, but you probably could have bought two cup cars for the money you've spent on this car.

Actually no way, not even close to one cup car (at least not a 997, maybe a 996)... but when i bough the car used GT3's were still going for at or above sticker.

I have put the car up for sale and was going to get a 2010 GT3, but for a track only car, its down on power to GT3's and cups, but I give them a run for their money.

Also a new engine and tranny for this car is less than 1/4 of what a rebuild costs on a 996/997 cup engine.

Problem is for every piece of downforce I add , I also add drag which will hurt me on the straits against those already faster GT cars.

Awesome spot on the sticker, Mitch's was/is my second home (worked there growing up) and Mitch is one of my good friends and mentors.
