Default New Continental tyre for GT3/GT2

Essen Motorshow Continental were displaying their new alternative tyre to Michelin Cup and Pirrelli Rosso.
It will not be getting an "N" designation (according to the staff there) but has been extensively developed using Techart 997GT2 Street RS round various tracks. They blurbed some stats which didn't mean much to me but seemd pretty convinced it was better than the competition and also much better in the wet which is obviously a bonus for those of us who DD these cars

It seems Sport Auto did a launch test for the tyres (below) but apart from that there is precious little info available. I can confirm, cos I saw them in the flesh that they are making 235/35X19 and 325/30X19

Default Michelin Super Sport...

The new/forthcoming Michelin Super Sport might be a better bet IMHO.

Just saw a tire test in the latest "Evo" - the new continental tire got top honors.

I hate Continental since last summer when they were an Official Sponsor of the 2010 FIFA World Cup and they did nothing about the vuvuzeles.
I almost visited the doctor after. And I m almost deaf btw.

Super Sport spanked the 5P at the launch in both wet and dry grip ... I actually question the role of the MPSC+ going forward once the super sport becomes available in N spec for the 911s ... the dry grip is as good as the MPSC, and the wet grip is significantly improved over the MPSC ... not that this would be difficult!

Michelin claimed the Super Sport matches the MPSC+ N Spec for dry grip, has better wet, heat mgmt and wear ...
