I realize that there are a lot of different opinions on oil types for out GT3s, however, what oil do you use in lieu of the factory fill: MB1 0W-40?

It is the factory fill. 0w40 and 5w40 is what you should use and the 5w40 offers no more protection.

It's not synthetic nor is approved by Porsche. To replace your GT3 motor it would be $50K +!! Mobil 1 fully synthetic is $7-8 a quart, no getting around it! What you just bought is conventional motor oil, good for toyota! I use Mobil 1 fully synthetic 5W-40.

It's the same synthetic as the 5w-40 and happens to be on sale from the original $8.00 per quart. It is Porsche approved and is the factory fill.

I think you're looking at the pic of the red cap conventional oil.

The 1 on the right of your picture...see it says fully synthetic...0w40 Mobil1. This is what I've been using...no issues and the car is tracked a lot.

Randy Thanks!!!

I just ordered online with store pick-up.

Final price with sales tax was $50.75, total savings $48 plus tax.

Now let's find Castrol SRF at discount, I have 2 bottles left.
