Goodbye Lotus...Hello GT3!
Three weeks ago I had some time to kill so I drove my 02 Lotus Esprit to a local Porsche dealership and asked to take an TT and a GT3 for a test drive. Did not really care for the TT but once I drove the GT3 I knew I had have it! I spent the next 3 weeks searching the country online for the right car and price. Once I had a few finalists I listed my Esprit on Ebay and sold it to a local in 3 days. An hour later I cut a deal with a local Porsche dealership.
Picked up my car this evening and I think I am in love with a car! I took a couple of bad pictures in my garage and will take some tomorrow in the light to post. It is an 07 GT3, 11000 miles, White with red wheels, mirrors and GT3 emblem on back. Black leather steering wheel with red instrument dials and seatbelts. Navigation, bluetooth (which works great by the way), xenon, premium sound, stitching in dash and doors, clear bra and not a single paint chip that I could find. I have on order some black mats with red trim and red GT3 logos.

The dealer is ordering the mats from Lloyds. As far as the TT, I did not care for the all wheel drive and I did not like the clutch. The clutch just did not have the same feel as the GT3. The TT has some turbo lag but not as bad as other turbo cars and the GT3 just sounds so much better. I like the tightness and feel of the GT3. It just seems to give you so much more feedback. You are almost on sensory overload with all of the feedback. The TT I drove also had a wood grain steering wheel and wood inserts through out which just isn't what I am looking for. If I want that then I would look at an Aston Martin.

I approve. looks great! enjoy in good health! if it doesn't have it already look into putting the .2 RS lightweight flywheel and single mass clutch in there. then she will really feel connected to you.
