Looking at getting another Cayenne. Towed the SC to parade at Keystone on the trailex behind my then (before the kid in the Suburban hit it, another story) and was very pleased. The Trailex is a great trailer and the Cayenne got just over 13 MPG for the whole trip from San Antonio to Keystone and back and never hesitated going up the mountains. Good tow vehicle and a comfortable daily driver.
Actually the little Taco tows like a champ!.... I just wanted a new truck...

This season it pulled to Watkins Glen (750 mi round trip), Mosport (500mi round trip) and 3 times to Tremblant (300mi round trip)

With an added brake controller, an extra cooler for the 5spd auto, and an extra leaf in the rear (after this pic was taken).... I'd keep it in 4th and it would cruise at 70-75mph all day. Mileage was probably ~15mpg.

Big hills would challenge it, but it was like the little steam engine that could

It's not a real tow vehicle until you install a "wake the dead" hornblaster..

No just a sweathy *** after hours on end on the leather in the himid Florida :-)
No wrap, but adding aux diesel tank, leveling airbags and my favorite; "Wake the dead" from Horn blasters. Sure gets the oblivious out of the left lane, hehehe..

Sold mine Tuesday. Guy flew in with cashiers' check in hand with my asking price on it.

i dont like aux tank, but i have an extended tank so i got 52 gallons.

i drove a friend's truck 3500. he took out the leaf spring and put shocks (4 or 6 of them), not sure what system you call those things. but it rides very nicely.

Why not, it's great to have 110 gallon, I've had the in my last 3 trucks. With longer bed trucks even 135 gallon. Works perfect Google tranferflow TranxII.

We just have leveling airbags, I think your friends system might not be able to carry gooseneck weight, not sure, but airbags are just a few hundred buck. It drives very comfy with trailer, but harsh empty. The extra 75 gallongs of diesel soften it somewhat ;-)
