Hey I was at the Merc hospitality too at the GP and did the drive session. I used to own a C63 like you too (and now E63). Don't get the alubeam if you are planning to go on long trips. My friend has the matte silver on his M5 and it is the worst paint to maintain. I love the white! Btw, what is this twin turbo X5 you have? I had a X5M up till 10 days ago and as far as I know, that is the only twin turbo X5?
The Alubeam is the Liquid Metal paint, therefore it has a gloss coat. The Matte is the Magno Allanite.
All of the X5 SD's are twin turbo. Sensational torque for towing the Cup Car. Sounds like you have had some nice wheels too!!
