Concur! The only Porsche turbo I have ever owned was rear wheel drive only and it forced you to know a little something about driving. With the output of the GT2RS it will be few drivers out there who could possibly use all that power without Colm's prediction of 'widowmaker' coming true!

What would it take to get a used 997 GT2 and bring it close to the GT2 RS specs? It might be cheaper in the long run to get the GT2 RS.

i would hands down take a 997.2 gt3 over the 997.2 gt2 rs. it sounds better, NA, performance that I can explore to near limit, i get everything that is offered on the gt2 rs, and at half price. gt2 rs is clearly overpriced.

as for f430 and 458, i would take it over any porsche except the carrera gt. but i have some doubt about ferrari reliability, so I will go with the gt3 or gt3 rs over the ferrari just because I can trust it will work everyday.

if this is a 599 gto, then sorry but i will take it over any porsche no if and or but.

I just bought a used 08 GT2 only 3000 miles on it. It has an Evolution Motorsports EVT670 package. Of course I paid a lot less then what a new GT2RS will be
however I can imagine what a great car it most be as I think my modified GT2
is awesome. Pretty much every other car mentioned in this thread costs a lot more, (except Gt3/GT3RS of course)
