anybody know what is involved to remove the doors off a street gt3?
are there plugs/clips for the wire looms in the tub or doors??
are the door panels required to come off and if so how?

I have passenger door off. The main clip for the door is located in footbox of body. Once unclipped you can remove from there on.
The CUP door bolts on, however i had to remove the rubber weather strip/seal surrounding the body for the door and there is a bump stop on the body for the factory door that also had to be remove to fit the CUP door.
The factory doors are heavy! i will have to get a weight but i know it has to 100 pounds each!
The CUP doors are lighter then an office stapler.![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Because factory doors have a power window function that allows the window to quicky "dip" down and back up to create a "seal" upon entry and exit, the CUP doors have difficultly closing.
A shim on the upper door mount will fix this issue.
My next plan is to see what i can use as makeshift weather stripping for the door as it has no rubber and the body no longer has the rubber either.......
Since it will probably rain during the 5 day targa event, weather stripping will be nice.

With the speed the stipper disease is spreading I think we should ask for a private forum it will be called rennlist strip joint and car/**** will be allowed.
Tom why you went for the cup doors and not a street carbon version? The cups are a bit tricky to fit and they lack side bar protection, also I think they are kind of expensive.
Here is mine naked of course..

911 slow: yes, street CUP style doors would have been easier and cheaper. where did you get yours?
i like trying to use factory porsche part as much as possible, but alas things like the doors and trunk lid are not direct fitment from CUP to street....
if i had ony known.... but i do love my new doors i must admit
