2:04 VIR Video
Here's a vid from VIR last weekend (per Al's request). Weather was perfect in the morning, about 73 degrees and track was in good shape except T1 which was real greasy all weekend. Laid down a personal best of 2:04.9 in Stock RS with hoosiers and pagid yellows. Best I ran in my '07 GT3 was mid 2:06, so RS is definitely faster. 13% lower gearing worked well except a couple places. Used 3rd in Oak tree (2nd was just too short), so it lugged a bit out of there. Hog Pen ran out of 3rd before track out and bumped on rev limiter until I could shift. Climbing esses entered in 5th, so harder to maintain speed at top (mostly because I don't have the ***** to drive it "flat-out" yet, and feather going into first right hander, than back to floor). Car definitely has another second or two left in it with me droving it

I'm a puss, I enter about 130 and end up about 115. I go neutral throttle until first right hander then go 3/4 to full depending after that. But being in 5th, not a whole lot of torque to get 'er going again. Took the esses in forth once or twice, but on bridge straight had to feather because bumping rev limiter, plus less stable in the esses. I just need bigger cojones to go "flat-out"

Yes car does have a lot of push in low speed turns. I messed with the swaybars at Summit Point a few weeks ago, but loosening the front caused too much instabilitiy in rear at higher speeds, so moved it back. Spoke with Levitas (TPC) at SP and VIR. Told him my bar and camber settings. He said my settings are similar to his and he had same issues and bars alone won't fix it ... of course he's addressing it by changing springs and other stuff. I'm leaving car stock, so just have to learn to deal with it. More time to gain in high speed turns and work with the push losing less time in slow speed turns.

a car should have push at slow turns, if it's neutral in low speed turns, you will fly right off a fast turn. i love a pushy car.
