Need a Vote - Color Choice on GT2 RS
Hi,
I spec'd my GT2 RS in White with Black Wheels, then switched to GT Silver with Black Wheels. I also like Red with Black Wheels. They all look great. I'm a bit concerned that white will be a little harsh with the CF hood and scoops. GT Silver may be too common. It's in all of the pics and magazine reviews. Red may be just a little bit to "visible" on the street. Black is not an option. 3 of my last 4 Porsches were black. I need a change. So I decided to post a poll. Any strong opinions out there?

I would go Basalt Black with the CF hood and trim...and silver wheels.

Can't do black again. Already had 3 P-cars in black. I'm reserving judgement on the hood until I see it in person. Porsches tend to look much better in person than in pictures.

Red with black wheels works, but it's been done. I guess it has all been done.
4. "None of the above."
ps. What's the reaction to Porsche asking for US$3K for Carrara White and Black?
Obviously enough, white and black get splashed on a base model Boxster for free, but somehow Porsche wants to hold the tin cup out for wealthy GT2 RS buyers to, well, do what wealthy car buyers tend to do ...

I asked why they were charging extra for black and white. PNA had no idea. No idea why they want to push paint selection to only two colors. It doesn't cost that much for a color changeover in the factory.

White with Black wheels, but I would also pay extra to paint the cheesy black side vents and hood. Don't care if the are carbon fiber, they look bad and very "street racer" IMO. But that's just my opinion.
