You guys will be fine. Just pass first then point at the driver as you are passing to tell them get off the track

Right... that technique works great until some FTW gtr tool parks it in the turns with an early apex and out-powers you everywhere as you shake your fist

I'll wait for a proper event like TMR and avoid the frustration

No point by group is called SuperSolo around here, it can get a bit confusing.
You have to be sure that the car in front of you has seen you.

The rules are that you are supposed to share the track as soon as a car comes up to you i.e. each can only use his half of the track. No apexing, no tracking out.

Looking at my sloppy driving, I think this was the first session out, so you don't always know the speed difference between cars yet.

FF to lap 5 to 9:30

On the other hand I have gotten point by's to the outside of the corner and if I would have taken it the car in front would have collected me going wide or even off the track. When in doubt, wait....

i recall it was 2 years ago in this similar event that "black sheep racing" was created when we got chew'd out. i still think the black sheeps weren't at fault, but it's water under bridge... i observe point by's. but when i appear in your mirror at T11, step aside, i will be at your door at T2, and that's where i get point by's...... and i dont trust too many ppl going side by side with me at T2

point by works well with experience driver. the incident that pisses me off is a bunch of us exit T11 at LS wot. it's the front straight. yes, i see cars at T1, and i expect those cars to see me. when i am closing on you like you are in reverse, you should be able to predict that i will be inside your cabin by T1. and i see no reason to lift on the front straight and 1/4 miles away from you. one would expect a point by given under the starter stand, no.... no point. at that momonet, i'll have to lock up my brakes and shift into revers while pulling on hand brake to stay outside of your car of just slipt by.... oh well.... i can only explain so many times.

How much fat are we talking about here???
If you have a Light battery, bucket seats and 5 gallons of gas each run.....
you still have glass windows I assume.
How much more do you save by pulling the carpet out?

i however, move faster.
now that mikymu will have his done, we are going to knock off the doors on 996flt6's door of his new house. he's the instigator and yet the SLOWEST one to finish his car.

I'm glad I live far away from you guys. You're a bad enough influence via RL.
