No worse than epoxy'd floor. You can put the rough coating to help traction but we haven't had an issue with it. Think about all the restaurants and bars that have stained concrete.

Polished however is a different story.

I'm actually about to take on a full re-model of my garage.

Is epoxy really that bad? I plan to store a track car on it and roll it out into the driveway for when I need to work on it. Single car garage, built in the late 40s, gotta love Florida!
