Given the rumored RS 4.0, aside from the approx $50K price hike (for what; 200 cc and maybe some carbon fenders?) there's the central matter of whether the "big" displacement is an improvement over the 3.8 -- I think there will be people keen to get the extra neddies, but I certainly am not interested in going to a lower rpm limit in a naturally aspirated 911 (or a drop-off in the power curve at the top of the revs.) If the rumored price tag is anything like $180K, well, I'm sure that's not a car I want to take to the track. Hard enough to stomach the risk of loss of the 3.8 (which I'm reconsidering, but every time I drive the thing, it's hard to say "enough" ...)
