^ Exactly!

The spec's on the Turquise one aren't so bad though, except they were asking an about an extra 5k for clear bra and Lo-jack when I was there...

Joe,
u sure that's Slate? PAG said it's dolphin grey from 356.

i don't know if dealer talk to other dealer. obviously the current inventory is not moving. now if the dealer is smart, order the car in the right PTS combo, then pass some discount to the customer to build some goodwill. then those cars won't be sitting like this. that's just my wishful thinking of course.

Larry,
back in April the 2011 allocations were not released. i was looking in June there was nothing available to spec as all the 2010 spots were taken. instead of looking for a incoming car, i left deposits with few dealers, all came back to me with available allocations in early Aug. it also seems like there will be more 2011 than 2010.

yeah there was also no indication at that time how many might be available or not ... it was a crap shoot ... I placed my bets I guess ... its just very frustrating!

Your probably right, they told me it was an old 356 color, just forgot which one...

They were thinking of painting all the red on the Turquoise car Turquoise, but I think all black trim and wheels would look great. They even seemed to think it was pretty stupid that when you delete the graphics and you still get the other pieces in red..

I guess thiey are going for the Gulf look with this car, not bad but I'd still prefer all the orange to be black.

i got a bunch but need to upload them. here's 1 more.

my first thought, wouldn't do the orange at first place. with orange, i wouldn't do black wheels. car looks great (mainly because of the blue) but the color is a bit much imo.

Surprised they went with black wheel's. I was thinking they were going to be orange. Pretty easy to change all the orange to black then, but I'd say the orange dosen't look as bad as I thought it would in a Gulf kind of way...

Porsche won't do Gulf as PTS that's confirmed. the idea of using another color to try to get the Gulf theme doesn't work for me. needless to say the Riviera was beautiful alone without the orange & black. the car looks better in person, strictly talking about blue only.

this is where they got the idea from i guess. it was in the shop.

just waiting for HRE to finish my stain black P40s ... I think mex blue/black could look good.

I wonder how much the orange decals/highlight/lip cost ... $8K?
