Thumbs up Harris: GT2RS... Will Most Probably Kill You

Excerpt from the current print issue of Evo (different from web, apparently!).

Best quote: "If you're good, this car is good. If you're crappy, it'll most probably kill you."

(PDF is too big for hosting on RL--it's approx. 4Mbs)

Peter: Which pedal set are you going with?

I've had the SRP pedals in the trunk for a month now, I need to get on it, sebring is coming up on the 21st...

I have the smooth throttle pedal and the pyramid for the rest. I had them in my last GT3, much better than OEM. I am going to raise the throttle about 1/8" also.

Not necessarily a bad way to go...

Another quote from a P-car chassis engineer: "Honestly, this is the best 911 we have ever made."

Love the integrated front wheel arch extensions vs. the tacked-on .2 GT3 RS bits.

OT: I did find the rennline pedal set useful and after raising the throttle by about 1/4" and tilting it somewhat towards the brake, h&t has become much easier for my lead foot

The fortunate fact is, the 2RS buyer demographic is probably among us 911 nuts to begin with. This group has probably the lowest "tool" factor among the car circles I traffic (both on and offline). Then again, recent visitors to the racing edu sub forum may disagree w me

Unfortunately that's just on the (optional extra cost) fenders themselves. The front end cap still shows the tacked on extension pieces. Still an improvement though.

"you should know that I belong to all the major internet car chat forums and I shall be posting a negative review of your organisation one every single one of them"

this sounds vaguely familar!
