I got a set of pads for one axle with mine and they are marked ffsomething

you get front pads because you need to scallop the pads to clear the hats

double check that but I believe the are shipping scalloped pads so your bolt on is easy... they are street pads though

One point of clarification, the replacement rotors from Brembo are not the same rotors (a step down) that come with the new GT-R street brake system. Still a great rotor but I think some are under the false impression that they're getting the same rotor that comes with the $15-$20k GT-R system, which is incorrect.

Good info. That'll give me time to scrape up that $4K needed, LOL
I think that they all brake the same, maybe a slight difference in unsprung weight, but the real difference is how long they last. Rotors are easily replaced, so for me it is cost per track day.

IF they fit, that's a LOT of $150.00ea of the rear OEM MKI rotors! And they also last 20+ track days...

I think for the rear at $500.00ea the MKII OEM's will be fine. The fronts are the ones that crack, when they crack, but I hope with fewer holes, further away from the edge of the rotor I will get 20+ days out of them.

TDM, how long did your fronts and rears last?

It DOES come with a set of custom-sized Pagid RS29s. I have mine mounted on the car right now and won't be able to post the part # for now. Craig you care to chime in here?

Rears use standard GT3 PCCB-sized pads. I've run Motorsport greens, RS29s and even (temporarily) PCCB stocker pads with no problems.

you can order plug and play pads - like the ones they send you with the rotors

the yellow pagid with my rotors were NOT RS 29. they were yellow but I think they are yellow like factory pads are yellow... iirc they had a FF stamp with some numbers in the backing plate

as long as pagid has something that will fit DIRECTLY (like open the box and just put them on), otherwise, it's too complicated in my book.

I am guessing a bit over 22 days front rotor life as some of my days are advanced drivers days with more than 2 hours a day. This is for the fronts. The rears are lasting twice as long as the fronts. Right now my rears are not completely shot, but they are getting there. Right now the fronts are pretty much toasted.

Peter brings up a pretty interesting point of "Its not really that hard to change these rotors and maybe just stick to the OEM's. BUT, I need to find out what the friction ring replacement price is. I am guessing the initial cost sucks and then it is all good from there as the rings will last twice as long as OEM. I will report back about this.

John, I think this is an issue of the pad clearing either the rotor hat or the caliper, but think it is more the rotor hat. It has nothing to do with clams or shrimp or seafood platter stuff, LOL

LOL i had a lot of oyster at lunch yesterday, no scallops. swan's oyster depot in SF is heaven.

i know pad edges are rubbing hats. i dont like that. i like OTHERS to solve the problem so i wont have to deal with it things that are not plug and play makes me VERY angry. when john's angry, life of everyone within 10 miles of me gets miserable. i try to not be angry too much.

First of all, the scalloped pads are for the 2010 which uses a shorter annulus (height) pad to clear the senter section. No screwing around, fits right on the 2010. I have them in stock, as well as the backs -

Second, the front Brembos: Brembo is out of stock on the front rings until LATE Sept/early Oct. Yipes.
