Thanks Thusly. On the last photo I can make out the tyre size says 305/30 ZR19 but those are for the GT3.2 size not the GT3 RS.2 which is 325/30 ZR19 ? I am confused.

Good catch! When Michelin came out to do the photoshoot, they didn't have the exact size in the rear as stock, so fitment was not exact. They indicated that the exact RS size would be available.

I read this today - it looks like no rear 997.2 GT3 RS sizes available

Question for those who plan to get these- are you going to use them for street, and have a set of track tires? Or do you think these could serve a dual purpose like the MPSC, but more safe on the street?

Looks like I might have to hold on to my 19" track wheels after all.

225/45 ZR 18 (95 Y) XL
245/45 ZR 18 (100 Y) XL
245/40 ZR 18 (97 Y) XL
265/40 ZR 18 (101 Y) XL

225/40 ZR 19 (93 Y) XL
225/35 ZR 19 (88 Y) XL
235/35 ZR 19 (91 Y) XL
245/35 ZR19 (93 Y) XL
255/35 ZR 19 (96 Y) XL
265/30 ZR 19 (93 Y) XL
275/35 ZR 19 (100 Y) XL
275/30 ZR 19 (96 Y) XL
295/30 ZR 19 (100 Y) XL
305/30 ZR 19 (102 Y) XL
It replaces the Michelin Pilot Sport 2 and offers the wet grip of the Pilot Sport 3. So it’s as quick as a Pilot Sport Cup with better wet surface water displacement.

Told you.. unfortunately "19s are the new 18s" : )

Let's hope they 'll discontinue the ps2 at some point and later make some 18" too..

That looks to be the first round of release. I asked the people from Michelin, and they were pretty sure that there would be a supersport application for the 996 gt-3. It may not be right away, but should be available at some point. Before it is released it needs to go through the approval process with Porsche.
