they are pretty nice ... I had them on my GT2/Sports Buckets ... easy to install, did a good job of mounting the subs ... the passenger seat is a little tricky as you have to relocate the seatbelt sensor control ... but BK have already thought of this ...

The proper anti-sub mount is made by Recaro and is made for the factory GT3/RS seat. You can purchase this from Suncoast Porsche in Sarasota FL.
Here is the link to the page:

GT3 Seat Sub Mount Bar
Code: sub
Price: $69.90
Compatible with all GT3 Recaro Bucket Seats, not compatible with stock or GT2 seats.
... and this is the proper harness:
Schroth GT3 Seat 6-Point Harness

Price: $425.00

that bar pictured looks to me like the 996 GT3 (Recaro) seat sub bar and not a bar manufactured for the (GT2) Sports Bucket seats.

to the best of my knowledge there is no OEM sub belt bar for the Sports Buckets.

This bar pictures @ Suncoast *will not* fit the (GT2) Sports Buckets

+1 this is not for 997 seats, its the 996 Gt3 recaro seats OEM bar.

Yup had 4x of those for my 996 and 997 with the Recaro's and I know those bars do not fit the Gt2 seats which I had in the 997.

I dont know what the OEM solution is (if any) for either the Sports Buckets or the RoW CS CF seats but I do know the BK bars I cited earlier *do* work on the (GT2) Sports Buckets...

Checked the PET both for 996 and 997 and it's weird because for the 996 it shows part number 996 521 933 90 for cross bar for belt but no such part for 997 1. or 2.
Looking at the 6 point belts it seems that the new oem 6points for 997s are with bolts not wrap around a bar for the lap belts, regardless of what people do in the States to make it work because probably their cars lack the threads under the seat.
The factory way is no bar but bolts.

that would make sense since the 997s didnt have the 996 seats+bar, so for either the sports buckets or the RoW CS CF seats I would imagine bolting the subs would indeed be the factory "option" ... (that would explain the absence of an OEM bar in PET) since the US cars are devoid those we have no option but to resort to a bar ... the BK works well for the Sports Buckets not sure what owners that have installed the CS CF buckets do here.

I do know that the 996 Recaro sub bars will not work with the (GT2) Sports Buckets ...

I have a Roll Bar and 6 point harnesses being installed in my 2011 RS this week. I'll let you guys know what the shop comes up with for the sub mounts.

In my RS, to eye bolts in the floor under the seat. In Spyder I used the BK bars. Both have the Carbon Buckets. Eye bolts are your ultimate in strength but you have to drill the floor pan and use backing plates. The BK bars are an easier install however result in a slightly compromised belt angle (per the Schroth install booklet).

All racing regs I know of require eye-bolted, body mounted belts. DE warriors should be fine with BK bars.

Vanilla/Chocolate.

Whichever way you go, good on you for even installing harnesses Now go buy a fire suit...

Default sub mount and belts

The Recaro sub mount bracket and harness I notated have been installed in my 2010 GT3 RS factory driver seat with a perfect bolt-in application.

Then again this is coming from someone whom just bought a fire suit after tracking for over a year ... whoops!
