Deviated stitching IS available on the gear shift boot; exclusive options. Also be certain to order XDZ and have that piece color stitched as well. XDZ provides full leather from the base of the PCM to the front of the gear shift boot eliminating the plastic piece.
The car pictured above could have had red stitching continuous from the based of the PCM to the rear center console. If I were to do deviated stitching it's all or nothing.
