2011 GT3RS Throw out bearing noise??
#16
That noise you're hearing is "music" to the educated !
Now that you've heard from everyone that this is normal, you can rest easy.
If it continues to bother you then you're in the wrong car !

The noise is caused by the LWFW, but not coming from it. It is coming from the gears rattling in the transmision. Much louder with the oil hot. Sowly push down on the throttle and as the revs build and smooth out the noise will go away. I would assume a throw up bearing would get louder as revs build.

Just got a 2007 C4S w/21k miles and, like Mussl Kar says, the rattling around sound gets louder when the oil is hot and the noise goes away when revs build. The noise also goes away when the clutch is depressed. It's pretty loud...
Is it really the trans? Mussl, does your 2007 C2S sound like that?
Thank you.
