Default Michelin promotion

I'd been waiting for the time to get new rear tires and Michelin has a promotion, which ends on Wednesday Dec 9th. I got the Pilot 4S tires after I spent all day yesterday shopping online, including eBay. I've bought from Simpletire and Discount on eBay in the past because of extra promotions etc. But the 4S price is practically not negotiable on any of the major online tire dealers. I've bought tires locally before too with good discounts, but sales tax alone would have been about $50.

So, after extensive searching, onlinetires.com offered 5% off on top of the Michelin promotion . No other site did-
Ended up saving $115 Had I bought 4 tires it would have been even more, $120 promo from Michelin.

Registering online on Michelin's site after the purchase was quite a bit of a pain, they wanted info on all my cars and motorcycles, and to upload the receipt in .pdf format it kept failing until I renamed the receipt withoutspacesfollowedby.pdf

So, if you might need tires soon, good time to get them. I seem to recall that finding Pilot 4S in stock was a problem not long ago(?)

Best,

JB

I've seen Cup 2 prices vary quite a bit, but since the Pilot 4S is a more recent development and was under heavy demand and back order, I suppose the bottom price is mostly non-negotiable.
Anyway, I switched from Cup2s to 4Ss, many users seem to have also. I also like the new Continental Extremes which were developed around the same time as the 4Ss and have them on my S3

Costco usually have 100 or 150 instant rebate, they do the promotion couple times a year. And costco pricing is already a bit lower than others.
Anyways, how do the 4S feel on the gt3? I'm thinking of the same for my next set.

I had a friend check at Costco since he's a member-no discount, $351.98 each. I got 5% off at online tires.com(no affiliation with them) so I did find the best discount online. Will buy from them again-and I got the Michelin rebate before it ended Dec 9
The Cup2 tires have a nicer sidewall logo/name
