Thanks A430v and Jams!!

I spoke with a dealer and I'm trying to nail down all the necessary parts now. If I can ID all the right parts, I'll use my car as a guinea pig and write up a DIY for swapping the pulls out.

You know you might want to look into the 993 RS (in europe) I have a vague recollection that it may have come with similar door pulls to the .2 RS (and the 964 RS, RSA) and may have been delivered in Speed Yellow ...

I looked in PET and couldn't see anything but it may be worth a forage ...

I FOUND THEM!!!

964.555.832.V02 Speed Yellow door pulls for 993 RS (RoW)
N 100 438 01 bolt (goes thru pull)
999.166.040.02 kl-locks (retaining washer, clips onto bolt)

While I cannot gaurantee that they will fit the same ... there is a damn good chance they might

I'm replacing mine with Swiss cow bells.

I'm also replacing my horn with this trick World Cup version:

when I'd have someone new in my 993's I'd always say- "okay, IQ test time!" when they'd be looking for the way out

The 1994 Speedster had yellow interior trim, including door straps, available as an option for the US market.

That Scott is the $64k question ... which you probably wont be able to answere unless you get them and try but ...

- its the same mechanism in the 964 and 993
- its a loop of material with a rivet, nut and locking washer
- how many different ways can you connect a loop of material to a door opener?

I cant imagine they will cost a fortune, they may take some time to arrive, but I would take a shot at ordering a pair ...

The only other way to get an idea if they will or not is to locate the GT3RS PET page and see if the surrounding mechanisms are remotely similar to that of the 964/993 ... I dont have that only a dealer will ...

sorry it's not a definitive answer but its the best I've got ...

if you have access to the Boxster Spyder PET it would also be worth peeking at to see if the mechanism is the same ...
