The **** Mounted Leaf Blower. I can see gardeners levitating around the yards of America now.

The Ultimate Top Shelf Air Ladder for Home Depot Stores. Of course, you'll need a fork lift to position that thing in the isle first.

Never trust a piece of equipment that protects all its own components but leaves YOU hanging out front like a soft tissue impact cone.

Agreed. Like an old F1 car with the legs of the driver in front of the suspension.

They say it has an air-bag deployed parachute. Still, I'd rather jettison the thing, let it fall with it's parachute and let me depart with my own parachute.

You've got to wonder how it deals with a gust or a microburst. I envision the thing getting a bit too far off axis and then accelerating earthward like fireworks rockets gone wild.

Still, with traffic the way it is around here (Silicon Valley) if it was proven technology and I could commute in 10 ten minutes (what takes me usually 30 minutes, but at the wrong time of day is basically impassable) plus the adrenalin rush of being 1000 feet above the chaos, land outside the building, put a bike chain on it, fill up the gas from a conveniently stowed race jug and be ready for the trip home ... there are worse ways to go ...

I wonder how it handles a bit of wind or rain? I wonder about its maximum ground speed? It would be vengeance to "buzz" a police speed trap at 100 mph 10 feet about the traffic and hover around comfortably out of range while the cop tries to figure out whether to shoot you or Tazer you ...

"Fly high enough that it does not hurt and low enough that you impact before needing to take another breath."... That is what the pilot tells me when being short hauled under the helicopter..
