Congrats and the new ride and congrats on the 'no drama' purchase.

I'm shopping right now, too. The problem with me is I like the shopping part of it. Defective DNA, I guess. Or maybe I'm...er, never mind.

Why superquant doesn't like the F car, because it bites back....

THe thing kicks **** beyond belief. You did it right. slow and steady or throttle to the floor and hold on for dear life!

keep us posted! now, after all that, please do NOT come on hear and tell us how you need some bogus 1000 miles to break in the engine.

then again, only an idiot would roll it off the trailer right onto the track!!!<G>

Not to worry. I do not believe in the soft break in. I think savyboy's prior thread on the matter covered the reasons why in detail. However I won't go quite as far as tracking the car in its first few hundred miles, I will leave that to the pros.

I have 300 logged so far.

I know many GT3's that were on the track around 500 miles, maybe short shift a bit and get used to the car. Do oil change. Next weekend repeat, all out and do oil change and gearbox change, probably not needed, but cheap and easy.

You will see that the blue cloud at start up only happens 1 in 10 times as apposed to now probably every 3 times, so it must be a good thing to take it to the track next weekend.
