I had the front 8 inches or so of my roof done too incude the A pillars. The seam(s) are minor to me. One consideration with the roof is whether or not to cover the A pillars. If you do, then there will be a seam somewhere, likely the C pillars or quarters if you cover the entire roof or one seam across the entire roof (8 inches from the leading edge as with mine) and to the weather seal atop the side glass.

Obviously if an A pillar sustains a chip, if and when, a re-paint is done the painter would have to blend it in; thus a strong reason to cover them.

Curious why the rear bumper?

Checkerd flag does not look good with the clear stuff on top...it is too thick (2 layers) so it is better to be removed if you wish to do the rear fender and you need to order new ones...$167 each side from suncoast.
