Canadian car, 7 canadian 09 gt2. I inquired in 2018 on this. It was going to cost me 150 usd then. So this sounds like decent $ for driver miles.

Does that mean the same dealership has been sitting on the car for roughly 2 years now?

It has been sold and traded in at least once since then.

Also, the guy that was going to buy it/did buy it before the previous owner mentioned that he never did end up buying it because CPO was taking too long or something along those lines...It's definitely had some repairs done to the rear.

Can you guys point me in the right direction to find out more about the car? I was unable to dig anything up. Thanks.

They won't provide you with the details? It took about 3 months for them to get the CPO from Porsche because they were giving them a hard time about it. If I remember correctly the over revs are maxed out in at least Range 1 and very heavy in the other ranges. Again, they should provide you with the report if you ask them.

A GT2 at 119K USD has been sitting around for a while and one failed buyer and one that put 3,000km in a short period and sold it back...

I'm sure the dealer would provide the DME report, but I was focused on your previous comment on "repairs done to the rear". I didn't want to waste time with the dealer if I could do some research on the car myself prior.

Thanks.

On a GT3, range 6 does not start until 11K RPM, so many of the GT3 guys tend to automatically reject out of hand anything with range 5 or 6

Its just a little more nuanced on our cars and easier to hit.

On our cars, range 5 is hit at only 7,900 RPM which can be done by a slightly off-timed downshift at the track. Aftermarket tunes typically raise the rev limiter to 7,400 RPM on a stock turbo mezger, so 7,900 is not that far off.

However, range 6 is 9k RPM, so that's potentially quite a different matter. Someone messed up there.
