Nope no CGT ... just cant decide if I should just keep the adaptive sports seats in the '10 or swap out for the buckets ... given I will do more street than track miles in it/them ...

Unbolt one of the comfy seats. Try to pick it up. Then bolt it back in and sell the GT2 seats ... : )

I have them in mine and it is a daily driver, they keep you young and agile as (if you are vain like me) you are forced to look like it is zero effort to get in and out so onlookers don't realise you are in fact riddled with old sports injuries and a bit decrepit ...... but seriously it is no biggie and they are sumpremely comfortable even for long journeys ~500 miles at a time, no problem

that's part of the issue, they are a "bugger" to get in and out of ... and the adaptives, apart from being made from lead and concrete, are easy and comfortable ...

seems nuts to drive in seats that are not 100% comfortable for a small amount of track time ... sigh ...

Just to expand the buyer base... I put these in my 993TT and they are amazing. These don't show up used too often. But for anyone thinking of buying, they are great seats.

between stock GT3 seats and the GT2 seats it is not too much harder to get in and out. (especially without full roll cage)

the lightweight feature with carbon backs make the car! no sacrifice in comfort either.

a GT3 is naked without cool seats!

how did you manage to get the thorax airbags to work with 993TT electronics just out of curiosity?

I'd like to get these seats but need clarification on how to prevent the SRS lights from lighting up. Anyone please?

The dealer tech can disarm any of the bags using the PIWIS (their guided service computer) but I've only done this on 997.1 GT3, so you'd want to confirm this functionality has not been arbitrarily removed from the .2 if that's what you're driving.
