The 599XX is equipped with Michelin Slicks.
The key here is the use of the Michelin slicks, these tires are 2-3 secs faster (per minute) than race spec Michelin sport Cups, and even faster than the OEM MPSC in the GT3/GT2.
On race spec MPSC this same 599XX would lap between 7:12 and 7:19.
The 2010 GT3 Cup already completed the VLN track (nurburgring + F1 track) in 8:38. Per Chris Harris, a VLN lap is typically 1:40 to 1:50 longer than a full Nurburgring lap, so the 2010 GT3 Cup (stock) is capable of a 6:48 to 6:58. Using the Nurburgring lap time from the VLN Gallardo from Raeder Racing (6:44) and the gap between this Gallardo and the 2010 GT3 Cup at the VLN track (8:32 vs 8:38), the 2010 GT3 Cup should run the Nurburgring at 6:50.
