Thats awesome Dr. Ron. Sounds like you had a great time. When is her first local scheduled appearance?

Beautiful car and great photos. Thanks for sharing. 33 days and counting until I pick up my GT3 in Germany. I have severals days planned at the N-ring in June, just before she gets shipped home. Seeing your photos gets me pretty excited.

In the procedures manual for tourist delivery it states there is "generally no insurance coverage if the car is driven for the express purpose of attaining maximum speed ...". So if you take your new P-car on the N-ring, and do the unthinkable, it may come down to how convincing of an argument you can make that you were not on the world's most famous race track to attain maximum speed. This could get sticky.

Despite this apparent exclusion, I am still taking the car to the N-ring.

Cool, thanks for posting.
It just takes a form and a call to Atlanta for Toursit delivery, but I skipped because my car was build 02-26-10, probably still too snowy to enjoy it... Shame on me.

I'll see you on track when you get the car to Florida!

You did it right? Will you bring your new RS to Sebring for a DE?

my 997.1 RS full cage only has the "single door bar", so i was curious if 997.2 changed design slightly....

mind you, they are not really door bars.... but are located in the door area.
Single bar
