Sweet vid thanks for posting but it is the drivers finesse that keeps that car "planted" and going exactly where he wants it to go.

and smoothness of inputs that are keeping the GT3 so in line with the Nurburgring track
conditions so wet. You can see in the vid that he is clearly short shifting, while being
very progressive with brake, throttle, and steering inputs.

What Herr Rohrl doesn't know about driving 911's isn't worth knowing, the man is a legend. That car is presumably running full race wet tyres and yet its still so edgy, the 'ring in the wet is a tricky place.

i love watching this video. watch how the door pull goes almost horizontal on some of the faster right handers and then how it plants itself against the door when he turns left.
also there is a box mounted to the right of center console and looks like a cable flopping around in the passenger footwell. what is the device located where the stereo would be? track data recorder?

I would very interested in knowing how he set the car up for the wet. I know when I raced motorbikes I went quite soft and had some real fun sliding all over the pace but the bike still held really well (yes full wets also helped amazingly). I assmue it would be the same for cars.... its gonna be fun finding out.
