2nd Annual Ferraris and Friends - a Special Day at Thunderhill

Ferraris and Friends is a favorite among many in our HOD season. Whether you're lucky enough of to own a Ferrari or not - YOU are invited to join this special day with HOD. This will be a three run group, limited car count event, with lots of quality, semi-private track time, great food, our senior HOD coaches as needed, and all will have a very good time. The Ferraris will also have reserved paddock parking. Come join us with your Ferrari or your exotic (defined as, exotic in your mind!) !! Please note: HOD has a regular performance driving event on Friday, the 16th, and you all are welcome to stay and play for two days....You would simply need to register for the additional day."

Who else is representing Porsche?

I'll be there on the 15th, should be fun.

We'll have to give the Ferrari's a good run.......me with my 964 RSA this time out since I don't pick up the new RS until June. I have 2 other Porsche folks with 997s coming along as well.

Which grp? If other then race grp there will be conga lines and mandatory pointbys. U get 4 sessions at 285 a pop. Did advanced grp one time- it was tough trying to pass cars esp if 3 cars together in front of u- each one has to point u by. Very unsafe- passing safely is a timing thing- I aint going to wait for someone to point me by( 9 times out of 10 your passing opportunity is gone). Mike ps- race grp I highly recommend- everyone uses their mirrors and everyone aware and if pointbys it's just courtesy ones. Mike

OMG! $395 for the "Ferrari" event on 4/15 at Thunderhill!? For that price they better provide my own umbrella girl and a plate of caviar. HOD has always been expensive and this is just too much.

I am looking at the Trackmaster event on 4/23 and NCRC in the next couple months

5 sessions for your $285. I'm pretty sure the Ferrari day is about a dozen cars per group with only 3 groups, so probably 6 sessions for your money that day. Race group is open passing as is the advanced group these days. Guys with nice cars seem to like the point bys and they are not required on the big straights. Late in the day it thins out and you may not even see another car during your session. I've instructed with HOD for years and look forward to seeing everyone.

LOL

I am definitely a Porsche nut and a BMW nut alumni (did not have good enough grades to be accepted by Ferrari nut academy). I like inexpensive track events so I can take the money I save and waste it on my RS. It's my distorted form of recycling money

I am looking forward to a rolling Ferrari exhibit And imagine the sound of multiple F cars on the track in full song? Whoo-whee!

And Mikey's umbrella girls serving me caviar... Yeah Baby!
